We provide medical and non-medical X-ray scanning and conversion services to digital formats, such as PDF, DICOM, TIFF and Jpeg, throughout the UK and Europe.
X-ray scanning service.
We design our x-ray scanning services around providing cost-effect digitisation solutions. Our services extend to various sectors, including legal, medical, oil and gas. We can scan all types of x-rays and our bureau is able to accommodate conversion projects of any volume.
Medical X-ray Scanning Service
We can scan any kind of soft or hard tissue x-rays and convert them to any digital format you like. Convert your medical, dental and veterinary x-rays to PDF, TIFF, DICOM and JPEG.
Non-medical X-ray Scanning Service
We can also scan any kind of non-medical x-ray. For instance, we scan weld inspection x-rays, pipeline x-rays, and geology sample x-rays. We use specialist NDT x-ray film scanners to create a high-definition greyscale reproduction.
To make your life easier, we’ll collect your x-rays from anywhere in the UK and Europe. We’ll even help you with packing, if you need it.
From sizes as small as 2.36″ all the way up to 51″, our specialist scanners can accommodate almost any x-ray. Our conversion process ensures perfect image quality.
Once they are scanned, we’ll index your x-rays according to any criteria you specify. This could be by patient name, reference number, or anything else, to make accessing them at a later date much easier.
Once the digitisation process is said and done, we’ll return the images to you via a CD, USB or secure download link.

We are accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001 standards and comply to GDPR. For admissibility and best practises, we also follow BSI DISC PD0008 and 0010.
With the capacity to scan over 10 million images a month, our workshop can handle urgent projects and meet demanding requirements.
Thanks to our well-developed infrastructure, we have the tools to satisfy any x-ray scanning project. This is independent of volume, location and complexity, and we’ll always work hard to meet the needs of individuals as well as businesses.
As well as scanning and data capture, we also provide document management software. For anyone looking to further improve their document management practises, there are a range of options. We could seamlessly integrate your data with your existing management software. However, we can also integrate the files with our own document management software – Halogen.
Once we’re finished scanning your x-rays, we can shred the originals and provide a certificate of destruction. We’ll only do this with your approval and after an agreed amount of time. We’re certified to BSI EN ISO 15713, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and recycling association standards.
As well as x-rays, we also provide scanning services for microfiche and microfilm. We can scan 16mm up to 35mm microfilm, COMBI microfiche and COM microfiche, as well as negatives, slides and glass plates. These can be converted to digital PDF, PDF/A, TIFF and Jpeg formats.

Advantages of X-ray Scanning
Having digital copies of x-rays means you can share and view them remotely. This means you can get a second opinion or a diagnosis faster.
X-rays can take up a lot of space. Digitising them is a great way to generate more value from that space and minimise your storage costs.
Having a digital library of your x-rays preserves them in the event of a disaster.
Digital scans can provide more detail and accuracy than a physical x rays – so you can see exactly what’s going on.
