What are the Advantages of Microfilming?

By converting a document to microfilm you miniaturise it so that many documents can be stored on a single sheet. Conversion to microfilm has far smaller storage costs than paper and can be reprinted at equal quality to the original document. Many companies use this technology to save important documents in case the original is lost or destroyed. The process of turning documents into images that can be manipulated on a computer and reprinted in miniature on a sheet of polyester. The film is then wound around a spool inside a cartridge. After scanning we can offer secure storage for the microfilm or secure shredding to dispose of the original documents.
