Book Scanners - WideTek A2 Colour Flatbed Scanner
One of our most delicate projects this month was from a newspaper publisher client who had an old archives of newspaper books (A1 size) which were around 200 years old. As you can imagine, books of that age require a careful handling and a large amount of TLC!
After careful assesment of the books and the nature of the project, our scanning bureau needed a scanner which could handle the delicasy of this scanning project. Different scanners were tested for this job and after a lot of consideration, we decided to invest in the WideTek A2 Colour Flatbed scanner which is capable of handling the scanning of these newspaper books and offers excellent image quality for both an image and OCR.
