New outsourced scanning and data capture service introduced by US company 170 Systems

Date: 06/05/2008

Automated financial information processing company 170 Systems is now offering outsourced invoice scanning and data capture as an addition to the existing invoice capture solutions that their customers currently use.

The service is offered by Portland Company Scan One which provides cost-effective, high-volume scanning of up to 300,000 images per day with a guaranteed service level agreement of 24-hour turnaround and 99.5% data accuracy. The invoices are first of all scanned and entered, Scan One then send the data to 170 MarkView, which starts the review, approval and payment process of the invoices.

As invoices can be received in different formats such as fax, paper and electronic, organisations are always reviewing the different possible solutions to find the best methods to suit their requirements most efficiently.

This new service allows any existing 170 Markview customers to use the best suited forms of invoice capture which can eliminate the use of paper invoices while sticking to the original 170 Markview methods for whichever invoice format is used.

Scan One is looking forward to bringing the many benefits of outsourced capture to any 170 Systems customers who have used them. Many organisations need flexibility in invoice processing, and the Scan One service delivers these services at a cost-effective price.

Customers of 170 systems now have the option of outsourcing the receipt and capture of all invoices; therefore they do not need to manage a mail room, PO Box or manual data entry. Invoice capture is an increasingly growing service area that helps businesses with a transition to an all electronic invoicing process.
