New business orientated scanners released by Panasonic help with paper jams

Panasonic of Malaysia has just launched two new business focused scanners, the KV-S4085C and the KV-S4065C, which can both handle A3 or lower sized documents while featuring high speed duplex scanning.
The KV-S4085C boasts an extremely fast scanning speed of up to 2000ipm (images per minute) in colour and monochrome. The less expensive KV-S4065C can scan up to 160ipm.
The speed of these scanners are not the only special features, it is also the technology used on them with help to prevent any paper jams while accepting different and unusual sizes of paper.
One new feature on these is a detector which can identify stapled documents accidentally fed into the machine which prevent any damage to documents or the scanner glass.
These are ideal to companies looking to scan documents regularly to convert them into electronic format for more efficient storage and organisation.
A very useful feature on both scanners is their double feed detection failure technology which includes ultrasonic sensors to sense when more than one page is fed into the scanner this will then alert the user an prevent any missed pages or jams. The KV-S4085C includes three ultrasonic sensors for this double-feed detection, while the cheaper KV-S4065C has just one.
These scanners are designed to accept papers of different size and can accept them at the same time in the paper tray. Documents such as long reels, posters or brochures will go through if A3 size or smaller.
As the scanners are business focused they are offered with customisable software to suit the particular needs of the customer which can depend on the types and amount of documents being scanned. Both scanners will be available soon in the UK with a confirmed release date not yet announced.
