AnyDoc and Capita Total document solutions announce data management partnership

AnyDoc Software, a large provider of document and data capture solutions has recently announced its partnership with Capita Total Document Solutions. With this agreement in place Capita’s main goal is to use AnyDoc's award-winning optical character recognition (OCR) software, into its service portfolio. This type of service has the ability to capture data from many document types which would eventually improve accuracy and eliminate the requirement to enter any manual data.
Capita have been using the AnyDoc software to complement their existing Swordfish solutions package. With AnyDoc being known for their high data recognition quality and capturing experience it made sense to work with them to provide better choices for customers using innovative approaches.
An insurance company known as Groupama Insurances, who specialise in vehicle, home and health insurance, has recently gone live using Capita's EDM Service integrating AnyDoc's OCR software.
Claims director at Groupama Graham Gibson stated, "This technology has significantly improved the speed and quality of document scanning, storage and retrieval supporting our claims department in the delivery of a smooth, efficient process for our private motor policy holders."
Management at AnyDoc Software explained they were excited about the partnership with Capita and the doors it will open for both companies. As both companies are known to specialise in each particular area it made perfect business sense to gain services and business with software from both sides.
OCR is a powerful business tool now being used around the world for the capture of business documents. Manually inputting data had wasted countless hours of staff time in the past over the years and OCR is seen as the end to these related tasks extracting data from forms via document scanning and feeding it into systems to provide electronic data which can be analysed and also converted into figures and statistics instantly.
