OCR Scanning Process
Prior
to starting the OCR
conversion process, it is important to understand the document types, document structure,
document formatting and data type. For example, whether the document contains plain text, tables,
pictures, flow charts, diagrams, mathematical equations, chemical formulas, unique fonts and language.
As well as English, the OCR process can also be carried out for all major European and worldwide
languages. Once the document, data assessment and the output format are analysed, the process
begins.
Prior to going ahead with the OCRing process, our OCR conversion bureau prepares samples of converted documents which are sent to you so they can be reviewed beforehand.
