Unlike many other data capture applications, SimpleCapture doesn't need setting up templates of forms setting up as it is able to intelligently understand the documents as it goes and as the user processes them. SimpleCapture simply integrates and collects incoming paper and electronic files from the customer’s range of MPFs, desktop and departmental scanners as well as fax servers. The user may link each device or sources with a profile, or class, for example, invoices. SimpleCapture ships with default profiles for mainstream file types, including bills of lading, purchase orders, invoices plus many, many more. Unique custom profiles may also be created without any scripting. It takes moments and doesn’t require any additionaltraining.
SimpleCapture automatically cross-validates and reconciles captured items with database lookups and business rules, for both singlel fields and line item table information. Captured files, data and metadata may be stored in databases, archive systems, accounting and DMS's (document management systems) plus more.
